Hi all,

Joined today.. I have polymyalgia.. Had it for over a year. Was doing fine with the steroids. Started at 15mgs. reducing slowly to 8mgs.. Then the aches and pains came back. Am now back up to 10mgs..Looking forward to chatting with some of you.

Kind regards Julie

Hi and welcome to the club no-one wants to be in!

Ten is often a sticking point - no-one really knows why though! But you will probably get a bit lower, 9mg most likely as long as you don't force the next drop. What really matters is feeling well - and 1mg here or there for a few months isn't worth worrying about.

Hi Julie,

As others have said welcome! Hopefully things will soon settle down again at 10mg, but don't rush to reduce. One thing you'll learn with PMR GCA is patience - even if you've never had it before!

Take care.y
