Thanks to all those who gave advice on coping with the bruising caused by Pred. I hate those bruises on my arms particularly and it's going to be a while before I get down to low doses. Im going to order some Double Base cream and get coconut oil as well!

You can find a tub of coconut oil in Aldi, if there's one near you. It's on the same shelf as the cooking oils.

I seem to be covered with bruises today, I have just been swimming and was counting them when I got to the end of the pool. Thankfully the purpura seems to have calmed down, I count those too. What a lonely life I lead.

Yes that's right everyone gives me a wide birth. I have had to change swimming pools as my normal one is being refurbished and the new one is a bit dark, so it may not work so well. I have only been three times. People seem a lot lazier at this one though and only do a couple of lengths. On the other hand perhaps it is working in spite of the murky lighting!

Arnica is also good for bruising. Not only Pred that gives bruising. My arms bruised from Warfarin.
