I have joined this forum as I can't get rid of groin strain and thigh pain. My hip has been Xrayed and is OK. I have been taking Ad Cal caplets 750mg two twice a day and wonder if this has caused the groin tightness then strain and pain I have been experiencing since January? I did not have this pain before taking the tablets. My Doctor has recommended that I see a physiotherapist and I have booked an appointment.

Could you clarify a little more, Ellenmay? Are you diagnosed with PMR/GCA and on steroids?
No and no. I have joined the wrong forum. I have osteopenia and arthritis.
