Thanks for everyone's advice. I emailed head office being very polite, trying not to waffle, just stating the facts. I received a call within hours from the branch used saying I was of course entitled to a full refund or choose another chair. I was very interested in the advice from one person who said put a private message on Facebook, very rarely go there but a thought for the future.
