I have never seen a Rheumatologist but I have had PMR for 27 months and was down to 6mg pred i had bad chest infection and Doctor put pred up to 30mg for 1 week went back down to 6 and I have had a flare up as bad as when i was diagnosed i am going to ask for second oppinion but i want to see someone who knows about pmr and pred anyone in Northamptonshire who can reccomend one ?.

Greetings northants. I can't help you regarding rheumy but I am a fellow pmr sufferer from Kent up in Wellingborough presently helping out with my eldery parents !
Thanks for replying anyway I belong to the Peterborough Support group and they have a good consultant at Peterborough. are you in remission or still suffering?
