The photo is in response to Celtics reply ( thank you) if any one can understand it for me. For some reason the foto has loaded upside down. ... regarding jaw pain the dr did say he would refer me to a facial maxillary surgeon.

For T scores

Mild Osteopenia T-score = -1 to -1.49

Mod Osteopenia T-score = -1.5 to -1.9

Marked Osteopenia T-score = -2 to -2.49

Osteoporosis T-score = Greater than -2.5

So yours are not too bad.

Those t-scores are good - anything from +1 to -1 is considered normal, z-scores are meaningless really. Nothing there would persuade me to take anything stronger than calcium and vit D and go for a good walk every day - since I assume skipping rope is not in your repertoire!

pmrdec, I can't see anything abnormal about that T-score of your spine - either standing upright or on my head!!! In fact, it sounds like quite a positive appointment all round what with a repeat DEXA being arranged in a year's time and referral to maxillo-facial re your jaw pain. As I said in my previous reply and as PMRpro has now said, just keep up the daily weight bearing, especially via walking, and the calcichew.
