Have been off pred and mtx for one year . I am able to do whatever i walk 4 to 5 miles a day and feel ok. Shoulder continues to be painful when extending arm out fully. I am not sure if this a tendon or rotor cup caused from pmr, has anyone had same symptom. Male 76 years of age Thank You

Could be either! I had a tendon/rotator cuff problem two years ago, probably because weakened by pred. My GP put in a shot of cortisone and it responded so well that it's still OK. Ask your GP or get an opinion from a physio - they often know better than doctors!

Rotor cuff problems are often confused with PMR - but I think they are different and not one caused by the other in either direction.
As Annodomini says - ask for a physio appointment, they are better at assessing those sort of things in my experience too!
Well done and hope it continues its lovely to hear their is a light at the end of this very long tunnel
