Have just returned from the chemist with my new supply of Pred and the packets are different; a different supplier with slightly different additives. The ones I have been taking are produced by Wockhardt and these new ones are produced by Actavis. Has anyone any views or experiences regarding change of supplier? Thanks a lot.

Have been issued with tablets from different suppliers over the almost four years been taking Pred. Can't say I've noticed any difference between them. So long as the active ingredient is Prednisolone, then I think you are worrying needlessly, unless you are allergic to any of the other ingredients. Although having said that, the quantities are minuscule.
Yes. In fact I started a thread about this subject and am trying to find it now. Wockhardt I fnd to be the best, but have tot used Pred Actavis. Teva is good, but Metwest pharmaceuticals - in a gaudy pink box is useless and may as well be taking paracetamol. Might be all right for other users, but not for me.
