Dubliner, when you asked a couple of weeks ago whether prednisolone could cause blood in your urine, we advised you to get it checked out with your GP - did you do that? If not, you do need to do so to rule out anything untoward such as a urine/kidney infection or a prostate problem.

Having hospital tests tomorrow. But sometimes you have gut instincts!

Had you have said blood in your poo, then the chances would have been that it was related, but I wouldn't have thought it would affect the urine. As Celtic has said, you need to get this checked immediately to rule out serious issues. The sooner it is checked the sooner it can be treated and the better the chances of nipping any complications in the bud. Ignoring these issues do not make them go away. They can just add more complications. The sooner it is treated the better the chances of making a full recovery from whatever it is that has caused it
