Upset stomache and preds

Just gone on to antibiotics today for chest infection but now have an upset stomache will this affect my prednisilone dose.

I am on 35mg for Gca and PMR

The white non coated Prednisone are absorbed into the blood stream in about an hour. So as long as your upset stomach started more than an hour after taking your Prednisone you should be fine.

Hopefully your symptoms will lessen as your body gets used to the antibiotic. Hope your chest infection settles soon.

Thanks for the quick response I was fine this morning so today was fine I was just worried about tomorrow's dose as I always get upset stomache on antibiotics and was worried that they would just go through me

I would then take my breakfast and Prednisone first thing then wait an hour before taking the antibiotic. 😃
