Bad foot numbness and leg pain

Came down from 7mg pred to 6mg and it all seem to go wrong with my feet and legs. Please advise!

My pmr began last January with lots of leg pain. Have been bringing the pred dose down but bad reaction after coming down from 7mg

Try taking a minimum of 1 mg (1,000 mcgs) of folic acid or folate (natural form) a day. I take 800 mcgs twice a day and it helps to repair the nerves going to my legs and feet.

There is nothing so miserable as sore feet and legs.

If foot and leg pain went away after you started on pred last Jannuary, what dose of pred were you started on?

If you were ok on 7mg but not on 6mg, do a trial going back up to 7mg. If that helps, perhaps you need to stay at 7 mg for a while.
