The Ultimate Sacrifice ... 9/11

Last Sunday we completed the Tunnel2Towers run in New York with over 35,000 firefighters from around the world. We ran from Brooklyn through the Battery Tunnel into Manhattan to finish at the 9/11 memorial. A very emotional yet joyous occasion remembering the 343 firefighters who gave the ultimate sacrifice. I'm still on steroids and "running free with a smile again" but this event makes you realise what an inspiration these heroes were. I have every intention to run the T2T next year ... when I hope to be off the Pred.
