Currently 5.5 years into PMR on 10mgs for last 3 months but have developed serious tennis elbow and swelling over knuckles of left hand with loss of function...all left sided (and I don't/can't play tennis currently!!)

Anyone have any thoughts, please? Doctor gave me Naproxyn which eased pain slightly but hasn't sorted out problem.

Thank you

It might be tendonitis, this can be a factor in PMR. You could try icing the sites if they are red and swollen to see if that brings any relief. Alternate hot and cold treatments could be useful too - I use a wheat bag for heat treatment.

Are you left handed? Rest with perhaps support is also good but can be tricky to stick to if you constantly use the hand/arm.

Ask your doctor to refer you for some physio as they may have more ideas.
