I too am looking for a pelvic pain support in the Sacramento, Calif area. If there is none I wouldn't mind assisting in forming a group.
I have had a struggle finding a practitioner that specializes in this.
I would also be very interested in a support group.
There are two Dr.'s in the Sacramento area and one is a Kaiser Dr. The other is Dr. Wesley Hilger. Both treat pelvic pain a bit differently. Unfortunately, you will have less luck finding a primary care physician that has even heard of it. That is the tough part as they dispense the pain meds. If they refuse to learn about it they will not do anything to help relieve your pain. I hope you find a support group where you are. I have retired and recently moved to another state. (but not before I called around to see if there is a specialist (urogynocologist) to treat my pelvic pain) I have a meet & great appmnt with her and will ask her if there are any pelvic pain support groups in this area. (Boise, ID). I wish you God speed and quick answers to your suffering. I totally understand.
