Hello everyone,

So over the last few months I've been having botox injections, pelvic floor physiotherapy and psychosexual counselling for a variety of pelvic pain issues (endometriosis, vaginismus, vulvodynia, hypertonic pelvic floor...) I've also been started on anti-depressants and I have to say I have seen a big old improvement with my pain on a daily basis!

I've come to realise that an awful lot of this is stress related, and coming to deal with a few deep-seated, traumatic issues that happened to me when I was younger.

I still have a way to go with both therapies but I just wanted to give people hope that it is possible to be pain free and lead a peaceful life.

Different therapies work for different people and I hope that anyone reading this finds what works for them ❣️

Soooo nice to see a positive post!!! It can take a long time to find what combination of treatments/meds works best for each individual. I found after 5yrs what works for me and although I'm not pain free I can manage daily living in a more positive way.

Wishing you all the very best wishes and continued good health for the future!!!!
