Nitrous Oxide as antiviral

My son was diagnosed with PCD last year. One of the diagnostic tests was a measure of nitrous oxide, and low numbers are indicative of PCD. The article below discusses the use of NO as an antiviral with some success against coronaviruses, and is being investigated for COVID-19.

We haven’t discussed this with his health care team, but given that PCD presents with low NO, I’m curious if this treatment would be particularly beneficial for PCD sufferers. Any thoughts?

Hiya ... interesting thought but I have no idea. Will mention to the medics next time we speak to them.

Hello, just so you're aware, Nitrous Oxide is N2O, Nitric Oxide is NO. They are very different; but there has since been some research done on the subject showing that it may help.
