I am isolating for 2 weeks with my asthmatic son as a preventative measure. I have PCD but am generally quite well, are Pcd sufferers expected to isolate for 12 weeks?? Or can I just do the 2 weeks loke my son??

So I’m doing the same I’m isolating for 2 weeks and playing it by ear. I called up my clinic this morning asking for advice and that’s what they said.

I have PCD and I’m healthy like you said you are so it’s a bit of a kick in the balls not being able to work especially as I’m a tree surgeon and come in very little contact with others but I was advised from the clinic that working with 4 others was enough to self isolate.

I’m hoping it’s not 12 weeks and in my case I’m healthy in a fact my PCD has a minimum effect on my life so hope I can work something out just so I’m still earning money as unfortunately I can’t work from home and I’ll be on SSP. Who knows what’s round the corner though..

We are on 14 day lock down now as my daughter had symptoms but does seem to be ok. I am assuming it's 12 weeks but I don't really know. I'm on the WFH list with my work as I'm classed as vulnerable so I was given priority. I'm assuming I can go for a walk or a potter at some point.
