Living Liver Donation

Hello all. I was diagnosed in 2018 with PBC, I was 38 years old at the time and my children were ages 3, 7, and 9. Despite only having a MELD score of 8, I felt terribly sick everyday with worsening symptoms and new ones arising. My brother-in-law donated 64% of his liver to me on June 10, 2022. We are both doing miraculously well and are happy to talk to anyone who may want to learn more about living donation. This is our story.
