I have been diagnosed with high LDL in 2006 and put on Crestor 10mg OD since that time, now suffering from muscle pain allover the body particularly on back and sholders mudcles.
I would appreciate if someone could advise his experience with natural food or herb which can help in reducing or getting rid of the use of statin and lowering LDL

Hello Waise! I had a similar issue. I used a statin for a few months and it hurt so bad they sent me to a physical therapist! I took myself off the statin and started using Red Yeast Rice. It didn’t lower my cholesterol as well as the statin but took my LDL down to a tolerable level. My primary care doctor told me that COq10 should be taken with statins. I think it helps with the achy joints and muscles. Anyway, could maybe ask your doctor if this would be okay for you to use
Many Thanks to your response. I read abould baobab powder in lowering cholesterol but the problem it lower all types of cholesterol including LDL, Triglycerides and HDL, the last is good cholesterol and we should do our best to keep it high.
Ask your Dr. about Repatha. My friend was very sick after taking a statin. Her Dr. put her on Repatha and she loves it. All her symptoms disappeared and her cholesterol is under control. The dr. explained that some people cannot tolerate statins and Repatha works in a different way. Read about it and talk to your Dr. to see if Repatha is an option for you! 🙂
they put me through 5 different statins before finding one that worked and they have me only take it 3 days per week. It has helped. Discuss with your doc, mine said even taking it once a week has proven helpful
