I'm post transplant and was told by my team Zyrtec or Allegra (or their genetics)

I've been taking antihistamines daily (before bed) for over 20 years. My doc has never said there was an issue with it. PBC diag. in 2011, labs normal. I used to take Zyrtec (before it was over the counter), but it made me too groggy in the morning. I have been taking generic Clarinex (not Claritin) for many, many years.

My docs recommend Allegra. I also take Flonase during allergy seasons (spring and fall in the US) and Afrin with a stuffy nose, as needed.
