Friends of former PBC digest.Where are you all?

Since I signed out from daily yahoo-digest because of email overflow I found this new PBC-home here.

But now I miss grately the contribution of my former friends and group. What happened? Our posts and contributions were always very fruitful to me, I read the Digest almost daily (since diagnose in 2003).So now where do you all hide?

Is there another forum you all share (beides this one)

Please tell me.

Thank you very much.

Greetings from Germany

There are many who have joined after leaving the Digest but not close to the number who left. Change is always hard but we are hoping those you have joined will introduce themselves and make this forum robust! You can still be a part of the digest if you are willing to receive individual emails instead of the digest format. There are still thousands still as members but most like to read and not participate.

Some are on Facebook, I am still a member of the digest only now we get posts individually now instead of one long post with all the messages.

I too left the yahoo PBC digest group because of the new format. I joined here and on Facebook. Both are good!

I am here, from rural New York State. I was transplanted, but I want to stay in touch. PBC can recur.

I don’t really care for the interface and wish this app had touchid. Most of my time is now spent on Facebook PBCAngels where I’m used to the interface and there are many more posts.

But give it time, I’m sure you will see others.

Best to you!

Charlotte

Glad you happy with the PBC Angels Facebook page. A support group like this functions best when people post and participate. Many of our former Digest subscribers were happy to just read others comments and never posted. They were there for announcements and new developments. You will get those on all our platforms. Everyone has their own needs from a community and I hope many will find this one suits them

Things have totally slowed down on the PBC Digest and posts have returned to their normal delivery. Why don’t you sign up again? It’s not the same as it was but we can’t look back. We can only go forward.

Hi,

I'm Stella. I've only been on Healthunlocked since 2016. DX with PBC early stage one late that year. In 3 1/2 yrs I've progressed to early stage 3. So, not great. Usually for most there are more years between stages. Anyway, I'm not on here as much as I was back then. A lot of us that were active back then have slowed down in posting or maybe it's that I'm not checking in. Anyway, nice to meet you from "almost springtime" in Kansas USA.

Stella❤

PS, What happened to PBCRobert??

PBCRobert is connected to the UK site on Health Unlocked this site is from the US group PBCers.

I think you see both? I know when we first started the community people in the UK group that were from the US were asked if they wanted to join the US one by Health Unlocked
