Hi Healthangel!

Interesting article, like the idea of beets but not sure about castor oil. Have you tried any of the suggestions?

I do juice raw beets and I have roasted them too, but never pickled them. I like pickled beets but have only bought them from the market. I intend to make them myself. I wasn't too keen on the castor oil and don't think I will try that until I run it by my Specialist.

Morning. I was told to eat lots of beets and been doing since. I try and eat it at least once a day whether its in my salad or just simply in a sandwich. Thinking of trying the milk thistle to but not sure about the castor oil packs.interesting article though. Have a good day everybody x

I've just made my juice which normally includes 3 sticks of celery, half a beet and 1 apple. Yummy. I also love to bake beet in the oven with garlic, balsamic, oil and rosemary.. one of my fav ways! :-) xx

@gracesofia, I have been taking three capsules of milk thistle a day since I was diagnosed. They were prescribed by my Liver Specialist. This is the first time I've learned about the importance of beets.

@Mrspiggy, I can't wait to try your juice recipe.
