Hello debg.

If you get the print-out of your blood results, there is normally the range which is said to be normal on it and on mine there are stars on the LFTs and the GGT due to PBC.

Ranges can vary slightly from lab to lab as can how the figures are done I have noticed from other contributors to this site so it can get confusing.

I have noticed the AMAs that have been quoted on this site, as yet got to read one that is in the same configuration as what mine were quoted from the gastro to the GP (of which I have a copy). I have no idea with regards to the AMAs on mine how high mine were when tested positive.

thanks for that all i know is that when i was diagnosed last december my lfts were 230 since then they have gone up and down as low as 220 but at the mo they are around the 285 mark and because they are not stabalising im having a bone scan and possible a liver biopsy im not feeling the best at the moment very very tired all the time and struggling with work im 55 and was hoping to finish at 60 but not sure if i can cope till then
