Hot flushes

Hi last month I was diagnosed pbc aih stage 4 cirrhosis. In the past week I’ve started have hot flushes like people describe from the menopause. I completely finished the menopause 7 years ago (no symptoms from it ) so know these flushes won’t be from that . So does anyone have any idea what these hot flushes are ? They only last 5 or so minutes

A friend of mine who is long past the menopause has occasional flushing still which comes and goes, we are both in our 70s. It may be worth checking it out if you can with your GP.

Morning....Mother Nature has a strange sense of humor for sure! I had a very early menopause with sweats like crazy. Time went on and things got better until the sweats returned....horrible, soak the sheets, wake you up type of night sweats. Went on Bio-identical hormones at 63. Sweats gone. ButterflyEi is correct.... might be worth talking to a GP or Naturopathic doctor. There is an herbal tincture called Chaste Tree Berry which calms the nerves, temporarily lessens flushes and gets rid irritability. Be well

41 yr old I do not have a menstrual cycle due to horomone inbalance but YES!!! some days I want to live in a freezer it comes and goes. The itching, shortness of breath, and stomach issues are awful too
