Hello all,

Question: does anyone else have chronic sore throats/allergies and sore mouth salivary glands? My gums are also swollen and having to have deep cleaning soon. Never had this problem before.

Ive been on antibiotics but keeps coming back, honestly fed up of never feeling well.

Oh well I keep smiling, hugs and love to all.

HiAsk about lichen planus regarding your gums. When you have one autoimmune condition others can follow. I started with a red line around my front tooth and soon rest of gums became red. Ask dentist next time you visit

If you have pbc you also have a higher chance to have sjörgens too...

As at Antwerp says those of us with PBC have a tendancy towards Sicca Syndrome or Sjorgren's which might be adding to your problems. I had a deep clean in 2020 the gums felt a bit tender for a while after but soon recovered. Have you had any blood tests to look for anything else? As mel16 suggests other auto immune conditions can be involved.

Hi gillrich , I read where you said you also have sjogrens also. I have been wondering if I also might have sjogrens because for about 3 years now every so often my ears will hurt and at that time inside my nose will feel very dry burning thob in cheek bones and I will run a low grade of fever and the fever makes me feel bad this will last about 1 to 2 days and it will go away without going to dr. or meds. I have had the Dr. to look in my ears when they are hurting but no fever the Dr. said every thing looks fine. could I be having a reaction to urso. I haven't seen the gastro dr. for over a year because of covid but I have an app. in Oct.
