I take lisinopril HCTZ. Seems to cause me to carry about two pounds of water weight versus when I’m not on it. I don’t notice my face being any different.

Yes. I took Lisinopril for about 5 years and had periodic swelling of the lips,

Would last about 24 hours then go away. I never knew what was setting it off, seemed it could happen at anytime, normally 2-4 times per year. Went to the Dr 2 or 3 times about it. They could not figure it out. Finally, after some deep research on-line, some people said they had the same thing. Seems that Lisinopril was reacting with my cholesterol med, simvastatin 10 mg. I confronted my Dr about it and he said yes those 2 drugs together can cause swelling of the face and lips. He changed my blood pressure drug to Amlodipine

and I have not had that reaction since and that was 6 years ago. Hope this helps !

I used to take lisonopril which caused swollen eyelids and lips. My doctor changed medication to losartan and have been fine ever since.
