Staying Positive

Hi all, I haven’t visited for a while but felt I’d like to share some positivity. I was diagnosed in 2016, it the time I was having so much joint pain, other symptoms and felt awful. The first year was not pleasant, however this year I have completed six boot camps, lost 18lbs, joint pain has gone, I no longer take gabapentin or amytriptaline and feel pretty good. Also my bloods are all back in the normal range 😃. I still get tired but given that I had my 60th Birthday this year It’s not too bad. Love to all of you this Christmas and to all of you that are really suffering I genuinely hope you get some respite. Love Julie xx

Hi Julie

How lovely to hear your positive news! You're such a good example of how we can help ourselves. I know it takes a lot of hard work though, so very well done!

All good wishes to you too. X

Thank you. Yes it is hard work and I appreciate that not everyone can do it, but whilst I can I’ll do my best 😊

Wonderful news Julie, well done - wish I could do the same! In my 60s, too, and weight creeping up.

Have a Good Christmas and a wonderful 2019.

Gritty xx
