Thanks, I actually had it all written down once but, lost it. I use different brand/manufacturer for supplements than he did but was told it was good quality brand. Problem was, like I said. It had excipients. When the time comes, I just would rather use the stuff he recommends.

I take several supplements along with Alpha Lopoic Acid IV, Alpha Lipoic Acid caps 300mg X4/d, B12 injection 1Xwk 5ml, B-Complex X4 caps/d, Curcuplex95 1 cap 2Xd, sylimarin (liquid under tongue) 1 full dropper, selenium 200mcg 1X/d, Vit D 200 iu 1Xd, Swiss Kriss I tab 2X/d, Neltrexone 3mg cap every nite before bed, NonFish oil 1/d by Nordic.

I have Alpha Lipoic Acid IV 3-4X wk.

When I’m in New Mexico I bridged ALA, meaning infuse ALA in morning and infuse ALA in afternoon.

I do have to take diuretics for Fliud accumulation.

Last yr my liver specialist gave me Atarax for Pruritis (itch), the Atarax did a great job getting rid of the itch but put me in such a horrible stupor plus lost 20lb. Only weighing 103lbs here, can not put the wt back on, working on it everyday.

I think I have all supplement listed there.

Sunny I can’t see your post. I’d like to know the supplements you doctor recommends, you don’t need to private message me. I take irsodoil, fiber, probiotic, vitamin e and vit d. Is there something else I’m missing?

I don’t take Urso, too many horrific side effects for me.

Oh, forgot, I take also take probiotics, (good probiotic should come out of the refrigerator and stay in refrigerator) Metabolic Maintance will send out in cold package), no Vit E (was told Liver does not like oil).

I eat as well as I can and drink plenty of fluids (fluid and salt restriction 2000 lt/d) as well as I can. Plus GOOD SLEEP, we all heal while we are sleeping.

I’m sure everyone knows that. 🙂

Hi Sunny,

Just rereading old posts. Funny Intercept makes Ocaliva. I'll be starting it next week. I'll be taking URSO and Ocaliva. Wonder if I can still do Berksons protocol or if it will mess with effectiveness of Ocaliva? My hepatitis doesn't want me doing supplements.

Hi Stella, I don’t know how to answer that, but you can call Dr. Burston’s office and ask the girls (nurses). Just mention you have PBC AND are trying to following Burt’s protocol, can you add Octavia. If they don’t know, ask if they could ask Burt or Author.

will try to get me the answer also.
