I was in the er on the 4th of july. The gave me a contrasted cat scan
I told the Dr I had PBC. But he didn't know much about it.
The report said my bile ducts were dialated
Is that bad? Or common with pbc?

Do you still have your gallbladder? What's the size of your bile duct?
Mine is 8mm (normal should be < 5mm). My doctor says 8mm is normal for people who had gallbladder surgery.

I was told I had a dilated bile duct at my first scan when I was originally diagnosed with PBC. They said I could have passed a stone as this sometimes causes it.
