Patient is suffering from Pbc stage 2 and irregular menstrual bleeding. Please tell me some remedy for this.
Have the Novasure procedure. My quality of life has improved greatly!
Hello dhirajshilpi.
I'd not say that having irregular menstrual cycle is down to PBC but I can't say what would be good to take with PBC. Not sure what Novasure is and think maybe a drug with a name not available here in the UK?
Information with regards to certain hormones taken for the female cycle irregularities as well as the menopause seem quite scant. Some doctors seem to prescribe certaint hings, others avoid. I think the only person qualified who coule perhaps give advice here would be your gastro doctor. I suppose it depends how you are progressing with PBC as a lot of medications aren't recommended if one is at a certain stage. It is said that early stage PBC is ok to take majority of medications with the avoidance of some.
I am going through the menopause and never had a problem with my cycle previously and currently I seem to be holidng up well with the changes that are taking place.
Hello dhirajshilpi, My situation was a little different. I was having some bleeding after I hadn't had a period in two plus years. My gastrointerologist it was not related and to see a gynecologist which I did. She also said she didn't think it was related, she hadn't heard to much about PBC and did some research with the info I had given her. I haven't had any more since her check up, about a year ago. She had some tests ran, but nothing conclusive. Not a normal thing from what she said and if it happens again they would do more 'invasive' testing. You might want to contact you gynecologist and see if there is something else going on female wise. Thoughts and prayers, cyndy
