I have recently won my esa appeal. I always got 71.00 every weeks. Do I get any backdated money after winning my appeal or what happens?

Hello Heather17.

Someone else mentioned winnin ESA appeal on this site either yesterday or day before and I did respond. I've no experience of ESA or PIP, etc as yet I've not claimed anything but you never know in future....

Here is the link to a posting that was on this site awhile ago that might give you your answer.

In a nutshell yes. Your money is backdated to week 13 of your claim. So, for the first 13 weeks of your claim you get the assessment rate. From week 14 you get the full rate. Well done on your win. I know how hard and stressful it can be.
