Not sure if it is related to PBC Dibbs64. Is it possible you have perhaps been doing something hefty like manual work or have been more energetic lately?

Or is it perhaps to do with age and the change? I was said to be peri-menopausal last year though no real symptons of the menopause (I am 50 in the near future). In the last couple months I've started with the hot flushes which seems to go through my body for about 5 minutes where I feel I am really hot inside and then it vanishes and I sort of rapidly start to cool down.

I was daignosed with PBC myself 3yrs ago and I still have the dreaded itch. This seems to be my only noticeable-to- me sympton, the other is the abnormal LFTs and other certain bloods associated (ie GGT) with PBC.

Hi, strangley enough i get it in my calf at times, its the most weird sensation. Its periodic and comes out the blue with no connection to anything ive done. I had it a few years before i was diagnosed with pbc, but was diagnosed a year ago.Ive just learnt to accept it and ignore the sensation in my calf when it happens now, but it can be quiet annoying. Best of luck and take care
