Hope your all well and staying positive . Since I last spoke to you all I have been following a healthy diet plan and have now lost 31lb..:).

Can some one plz tell me when your LFT results are 635 what it means..

What is 635? Alkaline phosphate?

That is quite high. Mine was over 600 but has come down to about 400 since I've been taking Urso. I feel well but itchy particularly in the winter when there is no sun.

What do you mean by the figure please?

Normally the LFT is made up of Bone, Liver and Kidney results and in PBC there is also the GGT.

Usually the ALP and ALT are expected to be abnormal and also the GGT like mine are. My albumin is also slightly abnormal, has been since 2010 year of diagnose but apparently this is assumed normal too. My highest reading as I'm not able to get ther results out at present, was 400 odd back in 2010 but this one is half now. Can't say which one it was but it was either the ALP, ALT or the GGT.

I have no problems with weight. I was considered within the normal range on the BMI and since diagnose I have lost about 4/5 pounds and despite eating well seems to remain the same now. I reckon due to fidgeting about most nights with the itch, that burns energy up!
