Seems they are using it to assay holoTC in that paper.

What you've discovered here is a mouse monoclonal antibody that is being marketed for scientific purposes. It's not a blood test. The material is used analytically. Mouse monoclonals are used in all sorts of ways. There's thousands of them out there. Some are used therapeutically.
