Oregano Oil

Does anyone take Oregano oil (not the essential oil, but the capsules). It is supposed to help lots of ailments, including inflammation, infections, and it has anti oxidant properties.

I have just used some to clear up a tooth infection (while I wait the two and a half months to see my dentist). It does work for bacterial infections.

I also use it for inflammation but cant really clarify if has helped but most certainly worth a try. I have Sjogrens and use it on my gums which have improved since my using it !

It is one of those you have to use with caution because it is very strong and if used in liquid form can burn. I had a dark mark appear on my skin and dabed a little on with a cotton bud and to my surprise it got rid of it !

I have also steeped fresh oregano and drank as a tea.

HI chickens44, yes I take Oil of Oregano as you said Not the essential oil, I find it really helps with my sinus issues sore throat or even a cold which I rarely get. I also got the capsules but they were not effective for me at all. Much better is liquid drops, 5 drops in a little oil, I use coconut oil let it melt in mouth , it is hot so glass of water after. It really is good for inflammation anywhere, recommend Zane its the real deal. They advice to use for 21 days then stop. Hope that helps.
