To newcomers, regulars, lurkers and others, apologies for not being around to read your stories and help. This is a narrative that I have concocted:-
In April 1737, Handel or George to his friends, appeared to have experienced a stroke. It resulted in his right upper limb being temporarily paralysed. He then suffered further signs of affliction by which his mental capacities were not as astute. Did Handel have high homocysteine levels as a consequence of PA/B12D ? It is a distinct probability. At the time, Handel’s Sarabande was regarded as far too provocative. Rather like me.
The PA Society resides in Wales and in 2015, the Well-being of Future Generations Act was introduced in this country. The PA Society works collaboratively with so many organisations globally and extremely diligently. So, much happens behind the scenes.
Equally, I am not on this forum much simply because I am working hard. The PA Society’s impact is not just for the now but generations to come. Please know that you are ALL never far from my thoughts and I hope this powerful piece expresses the commitment people have towards the recognition, treatment and management of this insidious illness. To me, Every Child Matters, whether you are 99 years old or 9 minutes old.
Sending my very best 😘
