Hello all,

I am posting this on behalf of J972

You’ll normally find her lurking on the Thyroid UK forum.

I hope you don’t mind me popping over to ask whether you’d mind adding your name to this important petition? We’re trying to reach the 10,000 signature mark to trigger a debate in parliament.

I have hypothyroidism as does my teenage daughter. We’re hoping that this petition will be the catalyst for a shift in the way thyroid conditions are diagnosed and treated, giving hope to both current and future generations of sufferers.

Thank you so much, J972 🙏

Please help her to reach her target, thank you........ Jillymo

Interesting post - Might you be better posting on Thyroid UK ?

I am kindly requesting signatures to be added to the poll for better funding into research and understanding of the condition.

I am aware of the connection hence why I posted the poll on here.

I have also posted on the Hughes, Lupus and Syogrens sites as many in those category suffer with thyroid issues.

The link is now working

Thanks, yes I am okish.

Exactly, if you have one then you usually have another. Then you can collect them as you get older.

Hang in there and keep cracking jokes or we crack up.

😘

I have done plenty of collecting over the years infact more than my fair share. All I aim for now is better recognition and care from our dwindling health service for myself and other's.

i am not looking for any advice - but, the article may be worth you going to read the British Thyroid Foundation as they have an article that refers to the pros and cons for teenagers and young adults.

I read the article but although interesting it isn't relevant to the poll I posted.

I appreciate all ages suffer with thyroid issues but thyroid uk are requesting for better management of the condition - which will hopefully benifit all age groups.

Done it! Passed it on to others too. Keep on doing what you're doing.

I have signed from the B12 site as I have both. I hear they are struggling to get to the 10,000 mark and it is so worthwhile. I think they were on 8000 something when I signed. I will get members of my family to sign as they have different email addresses to mine, it should be ok.

With all the people on site I am rather surprised they are struggling to meet the target. I have both and more beside. 😶

Thank you for signing
