Hi people. Please could someone remind me of the title of the Martyn Hooper book about b12? There seems to be more than one available? Many thanks!
Which Martyn Hooper book? : Hi people... - Pernicious Anaemi...
Which Martyn Hooper book?
What you need to know about B12 deficiency / PA is the one I have . I thnk it the first one .
Im still unable to read it .
Have glad it read in parts and used as a reference.
At the time I couldn't process it all.
So don't get concerns if that happens.
Dr Chandry book gives slot of case studies.
Easier to get for me
Sally Pacholok
Could it be B12 good too.
This is the one I have. I finally read it cover to cover recently. I find it easier than the Society website, for finding information. It's still full of more information than you really want when you are newly diagnosed and in brain fog! Appendix 2,3 and 7 should be at the front.
Hi,
I think they're all good but ""What You Need to Know About Pernicious Anaemia and Vitamin B12 Deficiency" by Martyn Hooper is the most recent one.
I thought Sally Pacholok's book "Could it be B12?" was worth reading.
I have read that latest book several times and I find it first class for informing people who have little or no knowledge of the science of B12 deficiency or how it effects people. I then bought one and gave it to my GP - I hope he reads it. I suggest we would all benefit if this could be done by everyone.
These are the two that I have:
"What You Need to Know About Pernicious Anaemia and Vitamin B12 Deficiency" by Martyn Hooper and also "Could it Be B12?" by Sally M. Pacholok and Jeffrey J. Stuart
