Local support groups?

Just wondered if there are any regular local support groups in the UK for PA & B12D that anyone knows of (whether PAS or other or entirely independent)? It would be a really beneficial thing, I think. Not only for discussion, information & support of one another, but joint buying of supplies with friend-sufferers etc.

And it would be great for advocacy.

Can anyone point me to one in the South Warwickshire/East Gloucestershire/North Oxfordshire area, if there are?!

Suggest you ask PAS. There are local/regional groups, I believe.

Here is the link to our support groups, we have also recently trialled an online support group the next one of those will be held on 4th January for members. Potential members are welcome also to attend if you want to reach out to us at info@pasoc.org.uk for details.

We have found that for many people their needs regarding personal support changed after the lockdown experience and as a result some of our face to face meetings are no longer taking place and are not well attended People seem to have moved to communicate more in this Forum, or on other social media and some are looking for online or phone messaging support. As a result of these changes we will shortly be conducting a survey of our members as to what type of support and what format they would like to see the charity provide in the future.
