Whole lot easier now that I have a protocol that I trust will result in continued positive results. See my profile for that protocol. I am currently working out a new trial. Very nice to have that protocol to go back to.

Well here is the thing. I have had a lifetime of being told it is all in my head. Including in the now by physicians. I have also been told to try many things with life style and when the results were not as expected I was told I failed when in fact it was that the changes did not have the expected results I was told it was me. When it was B12 deficiency.
Most recently I was told 1mg of hydroxocobalamin every other day was the best and any "symptoms" were permanent or to wait years and they would improve. Thing is they might improve, only way to know is wait years. They are not permanent.

I still grieve the loss from a lifetime of B12 deficiency. Not as angry at those that were confident I was wrong.
I have been very patient. Every time I treat more robustly the effect on my life is positive. It took me time to read and design effective treatment.
Someday I will write a letter to my 65 year old self and tell him he did well with no effective medical help and then tell him what I would do with the knowledge I have now. That would include hydroxocobalamin, methylcobalamin, adenosylcobalamin, vitamin B6. Starting with a low doses as the healing would likely be too extreme to handle and to increase dosing patiently.
If I experience the same level of improvement in the next 6 months that I did in the last 6 months that would be desirable. More improvement than that would be more desirable. The year and a half before that was undesirable.
Do you mean B6? Can be a difficult one to manage - Perhaps its B9 = folate which works hand in hand with B12 and needs supplementing with high B12 treatment.
Thanks for pointing out I may have been in error. Always good to have someone else review. In this case I am not in error.
I experience peripheral neuropathy if I do not supplement with B6 Pyridoxal 5 Phosphate. Cobalamin helps but does not eliminate it.
I manage it pretty easily by symptoms if I view it as not just related to cobalamin and other cofactors. I wish the other supplements were as easy to manage.
