I had bloods done recently as I'm experiencing extreme fatigue, shortness of breath, difficulty concentrating, generally bring uncoordinated and discombobulated. This test came back abnormal, I self inject B12 not from prescription because when I moved Dr surgery they refused to prescribe it like my old one did. My B12 level was high 4000 but I don't know what to do next. Any advice please how I speak to my GP about it, I've requested a phone call. TIA

I would explain the predicament you were left in with ref to B12Quote PAS ect
Ask them to explain current results.
I had an iron result out of range I didn't understand
G.p not concerned .??
Are you on supplements?
Iron has to be looked at with all results.
A medical eye is needed so make them listen to your concerns.
One lab on its own is difficult to interpret unfortunately. If you have others please feel free to post, though none of us are really iron experts, except maybe FlipperTD.
Did they test thyroid function?
Folate? Low folate will hinder b12 from doing its job.
Nackapan makes very good points.
Hi,
Welcome to the forum.
Have you got recent folate results?
