last loading dose

Hi, I’ve had all my loading doses now , I won’t have another injection now until September. I’ve got pins and needles all over which had gone after I started the loading doses, and I’ve got constant intense burning in my hands and feet, I thought all of this would go after the loading doses! It’s really getting me down as no pain killer help at all, can anyone with the same experience help me to know when this will go. I’m really struggling at the moment, no sleep , thanks .

I had also great expectations from the loading doses .5 weeks after the last injection j seemed worse than when 8 started if that possible.

Got back on every other day .

Slowly slowly started to make improvements.

Sometimes symotoms get worse before better .

A good sign if you've had a reaction.

Nerves waking up is painful.

If you find no plateau or improvements you may need to go back and quote guidelines.

And go back on every other day .

I did this for months .

Then x2 a week then weekly then 2 weekly.

Tried 3 weekly ? 5 times .

Also sub lingual inbetween.

Didn't work.

Many many can't cope on 2-3 monthly b12 injections

Hope your body starts to heal soon.

With those neurological symptoms, you need injections every other day until improvement sets in . Ask your GP to prescribe them . If you have trouble , come back and tell us ,

Wedgewood is right, you need more B12 and soon. Go back to your GP and take the NICE guidelines with you - Sleepybunny has all these links to hand but I have found this

You clearly have neurologic involvement.

I wish you all the best and don't give up. 🤗🤗🤗🤗

the NICE guidelines say you should have injections on alternate days ‘until no further improvement’. Contact your surgery and quote the guidelines and demand that injections continue as NICE advises.
