Wikipedia is a good starting point, then you can Google to get more information on whatever symptom. That's how I found out what P.A. is (and subsequently this site!)

I've also looked up symptoms of M.S. that ^^^ way, and it looks like I might have that (P.A. and M.S. have very similar signs/symptoms), and I also found out that Cushing's Syndrome affects humans and not just horses, and I might well have that too!!

Huzzah for Drs Google and Wikipedia!!! 🍾

Just in case it is of help to anyone, my collection of links and references, though skewed strongly towards thyroid issues, has quite a number of generally useful pointers.

helvella's Links and References document contains many links to other organisations

A single document containing numerous links to relevant websites. With a focus on the UK it nonetheless includes many non-UK sites.

Rather than a simple list of links, there is a page (or more) per site. This is intended to provide some flavour of the site before you decide whether to visit.
