Treatment for PA the same as B12 deficiency?

I got so caught up in preventing permanent neurological symptoms I have not done any reading on PA. I tested positive which confirmed what was found by a endoscopy.

I have a endoscopy coming up. Does it have any value as far as PA is concerned.

I am waiting for an endoscopy to see what damage has been done by extended PPI use, now no longer being taken. I have PA confirmed probably through that use and long term B12 deficiency.

It is the same at least initially. But in the case of a dietary deficiency where intrinsic factor is still working it should be possible in theory to revert to tablets after some time. I was able to revert to tablets after approx 1 year. Now I take B12 with every meal (100mcg) and another 10mcg for luck in the late evening/before bed to make sure I've got B12 coming into the system all the time :)

Love the 10mcg for luck. I assume that's a medical phrase.😀
