I am having to wear carpel tunnel gloves to keep my hands warm along with fleece lined gloves. I live in England and recently had a heavy snow fall and its lingering on with the freezing temperatures. I have not been able to get out of the house so I have had to keep the central heating on all day and wear my gloves. If only there was a cure to reverse the damage caused by B12 deficiency which I'm sure was caused by Metformin tablets given to me for type 2 diabetes 🤔 I have looked into the side effects of this drug and on the Drug makers website it clearly states that this drug can cause Pernicious Anaemia

Neuropathy and the Cold weather
Metformin causes B12 deficiency , not Pernicious Anaemia . You may think that I’m slitting hairs saying this , because it makes no difference to the outcome . Pernicious Amaemia is an autoimmune condition and is the most common cause of Vitamin B12 deficiency. There are several other causes . of B12 deficiency. But if not treated , or undertreated , the outcome is the same . I also have an irreversible symptom — burning feet . Not burning to the touch , just that sensation , with the feeling that I am wearing shoes a size too small . Painful day and night . I’m so sorry that you also have that irreversible symptom .
The medical profession is mostly ignorant of and disinterested in the subject , and we have to be thankful to Martyn Hooper for founding the PAS and this forum . -Best wishes .
I posted yesterday about my problems with the cold. What are carpel tunnel gloves? How do they keep your hands warm?
Hi,
Are you sure it’s not Raynauds as well as your other issue’s? I only ask as I’m now suffering with it to and wearing gloves inside during the day.
