I hope this post finds you well. I am pregnant and need weekly injections of B12 to feel normal. I try to push it to 9 or 10 days and end up miserable. I read this article today and now I’m terrified. My blood serum B12 is sky high. My folate was also high before starting prenatal vitamins so I’m sure that is through the roof too.

Pregnant/ B12 & Autism?
The article is from 2016 - and it is a warning that something showed up in research at that point - that's five years ago and understanding of what was happening may well have changed. The research has thrown up a correlation but it hasn't provided information about the cause. If you can I would suggest talking to your GP - or possibly to a pharmacist as they are usually pretty good on interactions.
Another women some time ago had her concerns too when pregnant and posted here. But continued with b12 as advised to.
Thinking of risk factors.
Too little folate causes known damage to a foetus .
Your midwife and obstetrician can advise.
Or find out for you.
They will have the contacts.
Some if the the articles are small research studies.
They use 'may' alot.
Try not to worry too much.
Stress not good.
Women often don't conceive if too little b12 !!
Balancing act as usual.
Congratulations!!
