Private injections

B12 injections seemed very fashionable a year or so ago. Many aesthetic clinics offer them. What to look for? Is an injection off this type of clinic useful to us 🤔?

in the UK and possibly in other countries like the US injectible B12 tends to straddle the divide between medical and supplement with different regulations applying if the supply is for medical reasons or 'health and beauty as a supplement. The regulations governing supplements are a lot less strict around reported and actual dosage though the reality is likely to be that the dose will be from the same 'manufacturers' as that supplied for medical purposes. The cost tends to include mark-ups but is probably comparable to getting a shot from a private clinic supplying for medical purposes

I have gotten them in a couple different US states. They did not limit my frequency or hassle me like the doctor's clinics do, and they would even let me take my injections home, but they did charge $10 a piece. That amount was not sustainable for me with my multiple times a week SI frequency, but if I needed it once a week or less, it would be a good option.

My doc will only let me get shots 2x per month which is just not enough. I need them weekly so 2x a monto I get them from a medi spa type place. It’s the same exact stuff I get from my doc.
