Yes my ears have been blocked Also have incredibly dry skin despite oiling moisturising. At times ferns lihe broken glass in my ears.

Have had them examined twice.

On both occasions clear.

If they .pop it csn help ease them.

Tinnitus also started in loading doses if b12.

All of thus new to me since b12 deficient.

I hate it when my voice sounds odd abd has a slight delay.

I recently after bribg refused a referral to ENT in late 2o18 thrn early 2019

Now have one.

A predicted one yesr wait !!

My other hospital appointment was a 1im wait.

I also did get a free hearing check at my opticians

I woujd try sbd get an examination. I case you so have a build up of wax

If they need syringing you have yo pay now as not done on the NHS .

After having them looked at.

Warm Olive oil is sometimes advised to get rid of it.

Is your hearing okay?

Yes and I have to have mine micro suctioned every 6 months as I couldn't cope with having them syringed. I have to put olive oil in them a week before having them done. I got a referral by my GP and go to the local hospital to have them done. I have been doing this for a long time

I would and my Dad used to have his done regularly too. The micro suction is really good and it means I can have both of them done at once. I used to have to have 1 ear syringed and then go back to have the second one done

Oh thats good you csn get it done at the hospital.

Fot my elderly mum .Toe nail cutting . Decent hearing aid all paid for. Home help paid for. Age UK only offer a telephone service now . No good if deaf. They used to be good . Had to pay but staff vetted ect.

Free prescriptions and a HCA every 3 months fir hef b12 injection that they have tried to stop twice so far.

This contact less Gp service worrying . We are not bank cards .

I tried recently to get my scalp actually examined. Not impatient. Have tried everything including pharmacist suggestions . He said go to Gp

Gp rang. After I wrote a letter. (Which seems to be going back in time rather thsn progress) not been seen since Feb.20. By Gp.

Be good if we had an explanation of what's going on.

Still no examination . Been going on since December . Have a prescription now.

"This contact less GP service worrying . We are not bank cards ." I know you're making a serious point but this was so funny 😂😂😂 Really made me laugh!

I think I managed to get in there before all the cutbacks started. I did have to chase this last appointment up as they normally send you a letter 6 weeks before. I think they were hoping I had forgotten, which there is no chance of that when I feel like someone has stuffed cotton wool in my ears and my hearing isn't as good. I agree about not seeing the GP's any more and I am sick of having to fill in their stupid e consult forms in to get even a call back from a GP. Otherwise it's trying to get through for up to an hour

Yes, for most of my life plus eczema in my ear canals, so dry and itchy. Have had many infections over the years too. Apparently my ear canals are very narrow. Wax never comes out on its own as they say it's supposed to, even using olive oil, unless syringed or micro suctioned. My ears block up every six weeks which makes migraine/dizziness worse and affects hearing. If water gets in it gets stuck and doesn't evaporate as they say it should.

I used to have regular syringing with the NHS nurse although some GPs and an ENT specialist simply refused to believe I had this issue - despite the fact that each time any nurse examined my ears they confirmed they were completely blocked with wax.

If your ear canals are normal you can get online a syringe with a three way water spray/nozzle (to keep water from hitting the drum) and I did successfully get all the wax out of my son's ear myself with this after he'd used olive oil for about a week.

I started suffering from wax build up at the same time as I started suffering from b12d. I am still getting micro syringing done every 6 months or so at my GP practice without a problem though my 99 years old mother was told she would need to go private by her practice. It costs her £80 for both ears.
