Is anyone able to help me get rid of this nuisance ? I cannot imagine how it happened , I didn’t know that it was possible ! Can you see that the instructions to me are in PORTUGESE or will it be translated back to English when I sent it to the forum ? We shall see ..........

Now I’ve sent it I can see that it appears in English . It only appears in PORTUGESE when I am writin my post , I’m sure that you all probably think I’ve lost my remaining marbles ! But I’m at my wits end with it ! I can assure you the whole site is written in PORTUGESE now . I only know it’s PORTUGESE ( yes it changes to upper case when I write it ) because I’ve looked up a few words ! I now know that Enviar means send . So I will now do just that . I think I will have to try to find a techy expert to help me somehow .

Don't worry, you are definitely sane and sensible and it will be sorted. I wouldn't even know it was Portuguese!

HU is often glitchy and does weird things but gets sorted out sooner or later.

Hopefully Foggyme will help you by contacting the forum support team for you.

This isn't a forum support issue it is a technical issue and needs to be reported to the technical team who deal with the platform as a whole;Wedgewood, suggest that you use the 'contact us' link under support at the bottom, or at least that is where it appears in a browser, though I note that that link doesn't seem to be working at the moment.

I've tried reporting to a member of the technical team on an unrelated post at the moment. Sorry but that is the best I can do Wedgewood. Hope they get back and sort out the issues soon

Foggyme cracked it ! . Had to click on my icon and find the place where language choice is written ( of course it was all in PORTUGESE . ) one can get this site in English , Spanish and PORTUGESE Had to click on English—- - and Bob’s your uncle - it happened . Thank goodness . I’d no idea about it .:

I tried Google Chrome — didn’t help , but thank you for your suggestion . Foggyme cracked it Clicked on my icon ,then scroll down to find choice of languages - English ,nSpanish or English . One can guess all that although it was all written in PORTUGESE . Clicked on English and all was well again . Thanks for your suggestion .

I wish it had happened to me. Portuguese is my native language and, sometimes, i have to look up the definition of some expressions in order to understand what's been said 😁

Well you can get the site in PORTUGESE , but not the posts . You need to click on your icon , then scroll to the bottom of the page , when you will find at the bottom right , the short list of languages to choose from . There is PORTUGESE ,Spanish and English !

My husband had his Facebook account translated into Spanish. He had to close that account and open a new one in order to get English back. Maybe you’ll have to do this also. A lot of “hacking “going on right now
