Got my resulta via letter yesterday although very brief,no nerve damage brain and spine fine, no b12 deficiency even though first reading was 196 (lots of symtoms & nerve problems) Now SI.

Diagnosis cerebellar tonsillar ectopia

(Herniation at the bottom of the brain) in my lettet it states although due to its size 7mm this wouldnt contribute to my symptoms, no other information.... end of??

But as we do look into things symtoms of this can be similar to that of b12.... on again to the next stage of feeling im not really getting anywhere

It's good your MRi scan okay.Mine was deemed normal 'for my age' apart from some T4 inflamatory markers and white lesions. .that agsin were okay.

Interestingly the specualist I'm still waiting to see want to see the original brain MRI and not the report.

I imagine the first neurologist rules out things.

Thdn it csn be looked at again.

I got it put on a CD . The NHS were very efficient at this . At no cost

They are still waiting g in an envelope though for 14 months now.

Neuro opthalomogist department has been shut.

Only urgent referrals bring seen.

Perhaua they were hoping I'd be fine by now.

Well that would be wonderful to be able to cancel it.

I actually paid a neurologist to explain the MRI report.

Gp wouldn't comment.

I did eventually see an NHS neurologist but 3 months after the scan so I coukdnt wait worrying.

Then when I got there he hadnt even got a copy of the report let alone the actual scan??

So get everything you csn for your own records to take to any appointments.

I think we obviously want reasons explanations for symptoms. Alsi a treatment plan.

I'm still waiting.
